These workouts are provided for any of our members to take part in. Some will realize very quickly that they aren’t ready for them but some are and they need to be exposed. The intensity is higher and the volume is increased. You’ll see periods of specializing and periods of high variation. The end goal of competitor training is to continually prepare athletes for competing in the sport of exercising, whether Rx, scaled, or Masters. Take this into consideration when choosing your weights, volume, etc. Always individualize when possible and necessary!
Alas, competitor programming cannot be completed during any of our regular classes. Competitors get together on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm and again on Saturdays at 11 am, both at our Council Bluffs location, otherwise, workouts are completed individually outside of regular class offerings.
